Continuing our training in Loss Prevention, shoplifting is the most common property crime in the United States and more than 500,000 shoplifting incidents occur every day. This results in $13 billion worth of goods stolen each year which impacts retailers across industry sectors. Shoplifting incidents are more prevalent in areas with denser populations but can occur anywhere.
